Dear Friends!

The holiday of Chanukah (Holiday of Lights) is coming at sunset December 15, 2006 and ends
at nightfall December 23, 2006.

As we already learned, this holiday like others, is not a religious happening but rather a Cosmic
Event, an opening in time that can change our lives forever. The story takes place in Israel 200
years before the destruction of the temple. The Greek Empire was ruling the land and tried to
remove all aspect of spirituality from the people. They wanted the people to become slaves to
the “Body Consciousness” and remove their focus and certainty from the light force by
prohibiting the use of any Kabbalistic Technology. A small group of priests (The Chashmonaim)
would not agree to the decree and decided to rebel. As a result, a fight took place and the
Greek Empire was chased out of Israel. When the Chashmonaim returned to the destroyed
Temple, they couldn’t find oil to light the Menorah (Candelabra). After some time searching
they found a little vile of oil that was hidden but the oil inside the vile was enough for 1 day only.
A miracle happened, the Menorah stayed lit for the 8 days until they managed to make new oil…

It is a wonderful and glorified story about the miracles that happened to our ancestors.

The question that we need to ask is: What’s in it for me today in the 21st century 2,300 years
later?

The Kabbalists shed new light on an old story and turns Chanukah, from a religious Jewish
holiday into a never ending source of Energy and Miracles. To access this energy, we need to
understand the meaning and essence of the event, and then we need the right technology to
manifest the energy of miracles into our lives. As we learn in Kabbalah, we don’t want to let the
opportunity go. This is one of those things that money can’t buy.

The Chashmonaim took advantage of the energy of miracles that was available, and used it to
defeat the Greeks. Miracles don’t happen; it is simply our true nature and essence. When we
turn on the light, darkness disappears. The word in Hebrew for Miracle is: NES, that means:
flee. We need to run away from that Ego that brings chaos to be our everyday life experience.
The key for the victory against the Greeks was the commitment and certainty of the
Chashmonaim. The victory was only a manifestation of thought. Sometimes we need to defeat
an obstacle or a challenge that looks as big as the Greek Empire. When we understand that
the ultimate fight is between the Light and the Darkness, and as a rule they cannot co-exist. All
we have to do is to ‘be light’ and the ‘darkness’ will disappear. There’s no need for a fight.

Chanukah recharges us with that energy of light. Lighting the candles of the Menorah is a
principle we can use all the time. By lighting other people’s flame, we give them light and the
ability to light other people’s flames (the God within), the excitement and joy that is our true
nature. We cannot use the tools of Kabbalah, properly, until we extend to others with the same
tools. For example: when we have an idea or project that is stuck and doesn’t come to fruition,
it is because there was not enough sharing involved, in other words; when we use the right
technology together with sharing, courage and certainty, there’s nothing in the world that is
unattainable!

The main tool that we use in Chanukah is the Oil Menorah (candelabra/Chanukia). We light it
after dark for 8 days. The Meditation we use is to become a vehicle for the light of Miracles and
Wonders that is present during that time. After lighting the Menorah, we can extend that light to
our environment as we explained before.

Remember; the miracles that defeated the Greeks are happening every year during this time.
We have the choice to become the miracle and make darkness disappear.

Happy Chanukah!
