Since there is quite a bit of discussion around the
Withdrawal from the Gaza strip in Israel, I want to
post the text of an email that I sent out several years
ago by the Kabbalah Centre. I also have cut and
pasted some questions and answers from old
Kabbalah Centre chats on the topic. Feel free to
copy the text and email to as many people as
possible. It holds the key to peace and world change.

Hi,

There is a very special synagogue in Tunisia called "El Ghriba" or the "Wondrous Synagogue"
whose congregants revere the Zohar and its author, the great Kabbalist Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai.
(the Zohar is the major book of Kabbalah)

Recently, this synagogue was targeted by terrorists.

But the Light of Rabbi Shimon has the power to generate love and unity between Muslims and Jews.
This excerpt from the "Jewish Journal" reinforces this truth, though I submit that 95% of the people
who read this will miss the point of Rabbi Shimon's power and the Zohar which is revealed on Lag
B'Omer, the actual day that Rabbi Shimon left this world.

Tunisian authorities quickly paid to restore the El Ghriba synagogue, which traces its roots back
more than 2,000 years. The government also encouraged and promoted the Lag B’Omer festivities,
even inviting foreign journalists to see the reaction, both private and public, of this Muslim nation that
prides itself on being a peaceful country. Their Muslim neighbors came out of their houses to watch
and show support.

"The Jews are our brothers," a young Muslim man said proudly,

The minister of tourism, Mondher Zenaidi also states in this article:

"Jews and Muslims are brothers," he said. "They are both Tunisians."

The Kabbalist have stated that when the Light of the Zohar is brought to bear, unity and
unconditional love emerges between Muslims and Jews and all people. You can deny it. Not believe
it. Ignore it. But the blood will continue to spill until we at least, try it.

The Kabbalists say that, in truth, Muslims do "NOT" want our land, our money or anything of a
physical and material nature, from the Jews.

Rather, they want the spiritual Light of Kabbalah and the Zohar which is our obligation and duty to
share with them according to sages.

They want our spiritual love and Light, unconditionally.

The Zohar says that Israel is like the heart in the body...We must furnish the Light of the Zohar (the
soul of the Torah) to all the world just as the heart furnishes blood to all the organs of the body.

G-d forbid, when the body is lacking blood-flow, gangrene can set it.  Hatred is merely the spiritual
version of gangrene.

Thus, when someone opposes the sharing of the Zohar, they are bringing more hatred and death to
the world. These are not my words. These are the words of the Zohar and the Kabbalists of history.

I can tell you a personal story that profoundly and deeply illustrates this
ancient truth.

I was in Atlanta about 2 weeks ago to give some lectures on Kabbalah. I ordered room service. The
hotel waiter brought the tray to my room. We struck up a conversation. I asked him where he was
from? He said Iran. I asked him if he was of the Muslim faith. He said yes.

I told him I was a Jew.  He looked at me wondering where I was going with this.

I told him that I was a practitioner and student of the wisdom of Kabbalah.

I said that Kabbalah teaches us that if we offer unconditional love, blessings and Light to our Muslim
brothers and all people, then the world will love all of Israel and peace will be the outcome.

I told him that the Zohar says if we do NOT share this Light with others, then Arab anger will be
raised towards Israel.

I told him that the Zohar says that even two people can influence the entire world. Therefore, I
wanted to wish him and his loved ones, unconditional love, Light and blessings forever.

His eyes began to tear. He was shocked.

He gave me a hug that lasted, honestly, for around 15 seconds. I had only known him for less than a
minute and now a Jew and a Muslim were embracing like long-lost brothers in Atlanta, Georgia.

I shared some more Zohar wisdom with him.  He shared some wisdom with me.

It was amazing to me how open he was. It was amazing how "kabbalistic" his own thinking and ideas
were. I felt like I was talking to someone who studied with Kabbalist Rav Berg for ten years.

Yet, when I talk Kabbalah to my fellow Jews, or academics and intellectuals, they get angry with me.
Or they scoff at it.

Now here comes the part that really moved me deeply.

This man makes his living receiving tips for the service he provides.  At the end of our conversation,
I went to give him his tip.

He refused.

He looked at me with the most haunting look I have ever seen (and I am not over-dramatizing).

He said that he did not want the tip.  He did not want my money.

He said that looking in my eyes, hearing this wisdom and standing beside me is all that he really
needed.  I had a lump in my throat.  I insisted that he take the tip. I wanted to share with him.  He
said "no" with loving anger in his voice.  He said all he wants is to stand next to me and hear more
about this wisdom at another time.  I respected his wishes.

He smiled at me and left.

I closed the door and I sat down and started to weep. I could not believe that I was crying. But the
moment was amazing and overpowering.

Now, the next day, my Muslim friend from Iran delivers another breakfast order to me. The magic of
yesterday is now gone. However, I learned again that the Light is eternal. I went to offer him another
tip. He just smiled and nodded no. He said, "I told you yesterday, just looking into your eyes and
hearing the words you spoke yesterday is enough".

This feeling will last with him forever.

The Zohar says when we give Love and wisdom of the Zohar to our Arab and Christian brothers,
unconditionally, they will not demand physical and worldly goods from us. They will treasure us and
hold us dear to their hearts. This, the Zohar says, is the power of Kabbalah.

To date, we have distributed tens of thousands of Zohars to both Israelis and Palestinians in the
Middle East to create Light. However, more "candles" are still needed before there is finally more
Light than darkness and peace is upon all of us.

Solutions for peace are never, ever, political or philosophical.  And violence is merely fighting
darkness with more darkness.

But if we resist the urge to react with violence, no matter how justified we may be, and instead, we
offer the Light of our souls, the Light of the Zohar, the love in our hearts to our Muslim brothers, and
put THEIR needs ahead of our own, then, the Zohar says, peace will blossom, like a miracle, for
everyone.

And then the world will love Israel eternally.

So you see, it is not about morals or ethics, or altruism, when we talk about giving love and Light to
others, especially to our enemies.

Rather, (this is profound and deep so read it carefully) it's a powerful weapon that will destroy
darkness and give OURSELVES what we truly want.

Peace.

In other words, WE benefit by this action.

Solutions must be founded upon spiritual Light and the human soul.

They must be S O (u) L U T I O N S!

Best,

Billy

The Key Point Here:  It's not about wanting Jewish land. It's about wanting the Light hidden within
the Jewish mystical tradition, kabbalah. It means we must share love with them, the Zohar, the
wisdom, and help them achieve happinesss. If we do this, miracles will take place. There will be land
for everyone, and the world will cherish Israel and the Land that we live on.
