Get out your running shoes! The Omer is a marathon of cosmic cleansing.
Kabbalah teaches us that during these forty- nine days following Pesach, we
need to take great care in ridding all negative influences from every area of
our lives. Lag B'Omer is the death anniversary of great Kabbalist Rav
Shimon Bar Yochai, who revealed the secrets of life in his profound spiritual
canon, The
Zohar. On this evening we are provided with the essential spiritual tools necessary to overcome the pitfalls that
are tied to this period of darkness. Join us for a special evening of joy and story telling from the Zohar. Then we'll continue the
celebration of the death anniversary of Rav Shimon Bar Yochai, author of the
Zohar, with a BBQ campfire!

The day a Righteous Person leaves the physical dimension is like a light bulb about to go out. It shines brightest the instant
before it goes. Lag B'Omer is the day the brightest light in kabbalistic history – Rav Shimon Bar Yochai – left this physical
world. It is said that all the worldly and spiritual understanding Rav Shimon acquired during his lifetime was nothing
compared to what he knew on his last day. This day, known as Lag B’Omer, was forever marked as the highest point of
knowing that is available the entire year. On this divine day, each one of us has the opportunity to know the answers to our
deepest questions. And when you get right down to it, that is what we all want -- to know. To know whether she or he is the
right one. To know if this is a good investment. To know what we should do with our lives... Join us for a Lag B'Omer Lecture,
Zohar study, and then a campfire celebration!!

About Kabbalistic Holidays: The Kabbalists teach that the purpose of the holidays is not merely to commemorate historical
events or to continue a tradition. Rather, they explain, that there is a very practical reason for Holidays. Every Holiday is an
opportunity to connect to the light of the Creator, the source of all fulfillment. A Holiday is a time when a particular channel of
light becomes available for every person to connect. These channels are gifts given to us by the spiritual giants of previous
generations. By their positive actions they created spiritual viaducts through which Light from the upper worlds enters our
physical realm, that great Light reappears and is available each year at the same time. This is why we gather for Holiday
Connections! To read more about specific holiday connections,
